Streamlining the Sentiment
This couple had raised a family for 30+ years and over the years had collected memorabilia, clothing, videos, books, and more -- to the point that every closet in the house was stuffed to overfilling.
Our job was to help sort and organize everything in these closets, to group them by like category, and help identify what should stay and what should be donated or tossed.
The emotional readiness to "let things go" is a tough muscle to build, but it can happen - when you work little by little to separate real from perceived value.
